Come for the event, Stay for a Weekend of Island Romance!

The event:
Guests can arrive starting at 6:00pm. Appetizer service will begin at 6:30. The group wedding ceremony will take place at 7:00pm. The band will provide music for our newlyweds' first dance. The buffet will then be open and the group vow renewal ceremony will happen after dinner. Then we'll cut the cake and dance the night away!

Food:
Bring an appetite! The food is included in the cost of admission and served buffet style. There will be a large variety of different cuisine.  

Drink:
Soda, punch and tea are included in the price of admission. Alcohol beverages will be available from the Meeting Place bar at the American Legion. Alcohol beverages are not included with paid admission.

This beautiful historic building, built in 1903 has served as host to a myriad of unique events for over 100 years. With it's high beamed ceiling, spacious dance floor and colorful history, the event organizers are very exited about holding the Tie the Knot on Tybee IV at this (INDOOR!) location. *

Dress Code:
Fun Formal (Black Tie or your Best Try!)
Because the event is now indoors, dress however you wish.

Child care services:
The Tybee Island YMCA will offer a special Kids Nite Out! for the night of this event from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Per child prices are $12.00 for any YMCA member and $16 for non members. You MUST register your child by Thursday February 11, 2010.

About the event and its planners:
The money raised by The Tie the Knot on Tybee 4 ticket sales and sponsorship will be put toward all the the incidental costs of putting on this event (decorating, printing, advertising etc.). The Tie the Knot on Tybee 4 is organized by a group of volunteers consisting of Tybee Island residents and business owners.

We just want to have an annual, fun event.

Valentine's Day Group Wedding Vow Renewal

*A note from the event organizers about the location: For the first three years of the Tie the Knot on Tybee, the event was held at the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion. Although we overcame many of the obvious obstacles involved in taking a concrete and wooden structure and transforming it into a magical event, there was one element we could never control. The weather. Yes we were (finally) able to figure how to hold a full scale outdoor event, in a public location, on the beach, in the winter, the temperature was always an issue with many of the attendees. This year we have moved the event to an indoor location in hopes that it will allow a more intimate and comfortable atmosphere for everybody.
